Mrs. Frances Ann Thomas Lightaul

Mrs. Frances Ann Thomas Lightaul, age 64, of Mt. Airy, NC passed away on Saturday evening September 24, 2016 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Patrick Co. VA on April 14, 1952 to the late Raymond and Magaline Ayers Thomas, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Mike Thomas, a sister Mary Tipton Thomas. She was a Truck Driver, and a member of Anchor Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband Fred Lightaul of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law Glenda and Greg Golding of Springfield MO, Angie Hall of the home, Jammie and Wesley Hawks of Mt. Airy; two sons and daughter-in-law Ronnie Hall of Mt. Airy, Jimmy Jr. and Teresa Hall of Mt. Airy; step children Wendy and DJ Stevens, Julie and Todd Ryan, Amanda and Raymond Groch, Fred Lightaul Jr., Wayne and Jennifer Lightaul, Thomas Lightaul; 14 grandchildren, 18 step-grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law Audrey and Jerry Sr. Jessup of Mt. Airy, Janice and Ricky Secrest of Mt. Airy; two brothers and sisters-in-law Dean and Jackie Thomas of Mt. Airy, Kenny and Jessie Thomas of Cana, VA. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday September 27, at Anchor Baptist Church in Ararat, NC with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Bro. Ron Hall and Bro. Kenneth McCan will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Anchor Baptist Church on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the time of her service at 2:00 PM. The family would like to give a special thanks to Mountain Hospice Valley and Palliative Care, and to Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home for the love and care given to their love one.
