Mrs. Frances Rorrer Taylor

Mrs. Frances Rorrer Taylor, age 78 of Perry Hall, Maryland, passed away Monday, March 9, 2009 at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Towson, Maryland. She was born in Patrick County on October 6, 1930 to the late Totsie Preston Rorrer and Mary Gunter Rorrer Sheppard. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Beane Taylor; two grandsons, Earl Leroy Mitchell, III and Eric Ray Mitchell; three brothers, Thomas Preston Rorrer, Joseph Rorrer and Hayes Rorrer; and two sisters, Pansie R. Fulcher and Nancy R. Vernon. She was a member of Linden Heights Methodist Church in Carney, Maryland.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by one daughter, Eleanor Raye Mitchell of Baltimore, Maryland; one granddaughter, Landri Angela-Taylor Mitchell; and one great-grandson, Deugray Lee Taylor Robinson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Taylor were held Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Judith Short officiating. Burial was in Patrick Memorial Gardens.
