Mrs. Frankie Creed Dixon

Mrs. Frankie Creed Dixon, 58, of 174 Glenn Creed Lane passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born in Surry County on August 25, 1954 to the late Glenn Milton and Connie Sue Creed. Mrs. Dixon was retired from Kentucky Derby Hosiery, and had received her paralegal degree from Surry Community College. Frankie was a devoted and loving wife and touched everyone's heart she came in contact with. She loved spending time at home and cooking for her family. She loved being outdoors and working in her flowers, garden, and watching the birds, but her true passion was the love of her animals, her two cats and two dogs, Chloe, Dixie, Bear, and Sammie. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Dale Dixon of the home; a daughter, Amy Parries of Mt. Airy; a step-daughter, Jessica Lynn Dixon of Winston Salem; three grandchildren, Syrie, Lacie, and Brayden. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Nation Humane Society of the United States, 2100 L. Street, NW Washington, DC 20037. There will not be a formal visitation or service at the funeral home. Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy is serving the Dixon Family. Frankie will be truly missed.
