Mrs. Gayle Monday Wall

Mrs. Gayle Monday Wall, age 70, of Dobson, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born January 11, 1947 in Surry County to the late Zephyr and Helen Edwards Monday. She was of the Baptist faith and had formerly worked as a cook at the Surry Dinner and the Lantern Restaurant. She is survived by her daughters; Sherry Lynn Wall and Shannon Melissa Wall; her son and daughter-in-law, Clayton “Clay” Winford Wall Jr and Millette Wall; grandchildren, Jamie Dale Hunter, Jeremy Scott Hunter, Ryan Johnson, Corey Dalton and Caleb Shelton; and a special cousin, Janice Lowe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Dyonia Monday and Sue Monday; and a brother, Dennis Monday. Private services will be held at a later date.
