Mrs. Geneva Frances Toone

Mrs. Geneva Frances Akers Toone 78, of Mt. Airy, went to be with her Lord and Savior early Tuesday morning January 5, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Toone was born in Carroll County, Virgina on April 6, 1937 and was a faithful member of Flippin Memorial Church for several years. Mrs. Toone is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charlie Allen Toone of the home; two daughters and a son-in-law, Brenda Toone of Winston Salem, and Glenda and Mike Bumgardner of Mt. Airy; and a grandson, Wesley Adam Bumgardner of Mt. Airy. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday January 7, 2016 at Skyline Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Tim Burton officiating. Family will receive friends on Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30 at Moody Funeral Home. Be joyful in hope, patient in afflection, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12 (NIV)
