Mrs. Gladys Carlene Goins Hosey

Mrs. Gladys Carlene Goins Hosey, age 76 of Claudville, VA, passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 at Northern Hospital. Mrs. Hosey was born in Patrick County on April 1, 1939 to Clifford and Gladys Keith Goins. Surviving are three daughters and a son in law, Patricia Shorty Tucker and William of Mt. Airy, Robin Caudle of Claudville, VA, and Brenda Floyd of Claudville, VA; and one son, Gary Williams, of the home; eight grandchildren, William Heavy Tucker II, Tiphanie Thomas, Crystal Williams, Hope Caudle, Sheena Williams, Marlaine Floyd, Laken Williams, and April Williams-Niten; six great grand-children and one on the way; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ada Marshall, Janice Gordon, Doug Sewell, Kenneth Norman, and Russell Smith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hosey was preceded in death by one son and daughter in law, Ricky and Lisa Williams; three sisters, Ethel Sewell, Mayola Norman, and Georgia Smith; three brothers Granville Goins, Allen Goins, and Donnie Goins; and one brother in law, Larry Gordon. Graveside services will be held at New Beginnings Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 AM Monday, November 23, 2015 with Rev Bill Tucker officiating. Family will receive friends Sunday night at the funeral home from 6-8.
