Mrs. Glaspy Fain Clifton

Mrs. Glaspy Fain Clifton, age 82 of Stuart passed away Saturday evening at the Blue Ridge Rehab in Martinsville. She was born on Sept. 25, 1924 in Patrick County to the late Aubrey and Edith Fain. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman Clifton; one daughter, Deborah Clifton; one sister, Cora Fain; and two brothers, Albert and Dolphus Fain. Mrs. Clifton was a member of Mayo Mountain Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter and son in law, Delsie and William Kirkpatrick of Maynardville, TN; one son, Letch Clifton of Ridgeway; one granddaughter, Kimberly Dykes; and two great grandchildren, Alyssa and Dylan Dykes.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor David Heath officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairystone Baptist Church Cemetery.
