Mrs. Glennis Lorraine Goins Henderson

Mrs. Glennis Lorraine Goins Henderson, 71, of Pilot Mountain passed away Wednesday, January 03, 2018 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born in Patrick County on December 13, 1946 to the late Arthur Lester and Callie Mae Keith Goins. Mrs. Henderson was a homemaker, a gifted seamstress, a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Anchored in Jesus Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, William Henderson of the home; a daughter, Lisa Henderson Lamb of Mt. Airy; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael James and Rebecca Combs Henderson of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, McKenzie Ashley Lamb, Ashton Kobe Lamb, and Lauren Calli Henderson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Magdalene Bowman; a brother, Arthur Tommy Goins. A private graveside service will be held at Carter Chapel – Goins Family Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Stone officiating. There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.
