Mrs. Gloria L. James

Mrs. Gloria L. James, age 79 of Stuart, passed away Monday February 9, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was born in Patrick County on February 23, 1929 to the late John M. and Nellie Cabiness Dalton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. James was preceded in death by one son, John Mathis James; and three brothers, Roy, Rudolph and Jack Dalton. She had been a tour guide for James Tour service.
Mrs. James is survived by her husband, Thomas W. James of the home; one sister, Lutrica Ramsey of Danville; one brother, Elbert Dalton of Danville; and several nieces and nephews.
