Mrs. Helen Seay Gilley

Mrs. Helen Seay Gilley, age 77 of Patrick Springs, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina. She was born in Gainesville, Florida on Sept. 12, 1934 to the late Cannie and Martha Lou Kendrick Seay. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gilley was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. She was a member of Community Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Gilley is survived by her husband of 56 years, Junior Gilley of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Denise Gilley of Henry and J.W. and Vicki Gilley of Bassett; a life-long family friend, Susan Gasperini of Stuart; four grandchildren, Nikki Redd, Revonda Gilley, Jonathan Gilley and Jessica Gilley; two step-grandchildren, Matt Bailey and Bryan Massey; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, Floyd Seay of Charleston, South Carolina.
Funeral services for Mrs. Gilley will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Elder Lewis Vass and Elder Donnie Conner officiating. Burial will follow in the Community Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, and at other times at the home.
