Mrs. Helen B. Willis

Mrs. Helen Fay Busick Willis, age 70 of Mt. Airy, went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2013 at Northern Hospital. Mrs. Willis was born in New Bern, VA on December 22, 1942 to Monroe and Leadie Allen Busick. She was retired from Centura Bank and was a devoted member of Pleasant View Baptist Church where she served as pianist for many years. Surviving are her husband, L. K. "Bill" Willis; a son and daughter-in-law, Vince and Deena Willis of Mt. Airy; her dearly loved grandchildren, Ethan Willis and Allison Willis; brothers and sisters-in-law, R. D. and Pat Busick of Mt. Airy; Ken and Dot Busick of Greensboro; and a brother-in-law, Phil Hall of Mt. Airy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Willis was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Hall. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 19, 2013 at Pleasant View Baptist Church by Rev. Josh Sechrist and Rev. Milton Sewell. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at Pleasant View Baptist Church.
