Mrs. Henrietta Leftwich Bingman

Mrs. Henrietta Leftwich Bingman, 82, of Mt. Airy, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Bingman was born in Surry County on September 3, 1935, to Lloyd Fulton and Cordella Victoria Johnson Leftwich. She worked for many years at Cross Creek Apparel as a purchasing agent and then later in life she was a tremendously loved receptionist at Surrey Bank. Mrs. Bingman was a member of First Baptist Church in Mt. Airy. She is survived by sisters and brother-in-law, Norma and Steve Kallam, Inez Belton all of Mt. Airy; Niece, Amy and Perry Hendrix of Arden; nephew, Winston and Karen Kallam of Pittsburgh, PA; many other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bingman was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Anderson; her second husband, Douglas Bingman; sister, Frances Brown; brothers Roscoe and James Leftwich. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 19, 2018, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Roger Gilbert and Rev. Jay Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 714 N.
