Mrs. Hilda Jessup Adams

Mrs. Hilda Jessup Adams, age 71 of Mt. Airy, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 17, 2011. Mrs. Adams was born in Surry County, December 31, 1939 to Isom and Eunice Love Jessup. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to so many. Mrs. Adams will be dearly missed. Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Melody and Bruce Schneggenburger of Advance; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Heather Adams of Draper, VA; grandchildren, Jacob Adams, Brett Schneggenburger, Kalep Adams, Whitney Horton, Cody Schneggenburger; great grandchildren, Ryland Grace Alley, Zach Gallimore, Conner Gallimore and Trevor Gallimore; sisters and brothers-in-law, Noretta and Donald Hooker, Barbara and Russell Beck and Carol Epperson all of Pilot Mountain and Marie and Jimmy Cain of Mt. Airy; a brother, Arnold Jessup of High Point; special friends Nancy and Darlene and special caregivers, Elva, Susan and Betty. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, William Van Adams and a sister, Melba Cardwell. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Toms Creek Primitive Baptist Church by Elder Jeff Whitaker, Elder V. J. Hawks and Elder Jimmy Joyce. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
