Mrs. Inez Barnard Hylton

Mrs. Inez Barnard Hylton, age 93, of Meadows of Dan, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Laurel Fork. She was born in Patrick County on April 21, 1924 to the late Alvin Meyric Barnard and Ettie Terry Barnard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Columbus Hylton; one sister, Hazel Barnard Helms; and one brother, William W. Barnard. Mrs. Hylton was a longtime member of Meadows of Dan Baptist Church and was the Head of Circulation for the Fairfax County Library System for many years.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Lucy and George Wright of Klamath Falls, OR; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Vera and Buddy Seigler of Meadows of Dan, Jessie and Claude Morrison of Williamsburg; a sister-in-law, Nadene French and husband, Bill of Sebring, FL; two special nieces, Jean Carter, Terry Seigler; and other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Meadows of Dan Baptist Church with Pastor Shawn Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Meadows of Dan Baptist Church Building Fund, 2511 Jeb Stuart Hwy, Meadows of Dan, VA 24120.
