Mrs. Inez Fowler Nations

Mrs. Inez Fowler Nations, age 73, of Elkin, NC passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin, NC.  She was born in Surry Co. on April 23, 1945, to the late Delmer “Bud” Fowler and to the late Lillian Coe Fowler.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Bobby Cave; a sister, Louise Tucker; two brothers, Delmer Fowler and Allen Fowler.  Inez was a member of Snow Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Chatham Manufacturing Co.  Surviving are her loving husband of fifty- eight years, John Hugh Nations of the home; two daughters and son-in-law, Pam Nations Cave, Patricia and Donnie Chaffin; four grandchildren, Jason Cave, Josh and Bobbi Cave, Jonathan Chaffin, Justin Chaffin; four great-grandchildren, Jordan Cave, Brian Cave, Jackson Cave, Ethan Cave.  A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 2:00 pm in the cemetery of Snow Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Don Ball Officiating.  There will be no formal services held at the funeral home.
