Mrs. Ingeborg Dequin Jacobsen

Mrs. Ingeborg Dequin Jacobsen, 81, of Dobson, NC passed away on Tuesday April 7, 2009 at the Joan & Howard Woltz's Hospice Home. She was born in Hamburg, Germany on March 20, 1928 to the late Friedrich Dequin and the late Hedwig Ritter Dequin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Walter Jacobsen. She was of the Lutheran Faith and was a retired Manager of a Building Supply Co. She was a member of the Eastern Star for over twenty-five years and was a past Worthy Matron of the Copeland Chapter. She was active in the Surry County Home Extension and the Dobson Early Birds. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law Silke and Warren Angel of Phoenix, AZ; Karen and Dominic Payson of Dobson, NC; by two sons and daughters-in-law Gerald and Diane Jacobsen of Dobson, NC; Jens and JoAnn Jacobsen of Nanuet, NY.; by thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on May 2, 2009 in the Chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home.
