Mrs. Isabella Branch Haymore, age 90, of Dobson, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday June 21, 2011 at the Heritage Healthcare of Elkin, NC. She was born in Surry County on March 11, 1921 to the late Jim and Mary Bet Jones Branch. Mrs. Haymore was a member of Salem Fork Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of Seventy Years Sam Hasten Haymore: four sisters Pearl Badgett, Betty Hawks, Nannie Simmons, and Ossie Beasley; by five brothers Monroe Branch, O'Neal Branch, Dillard Branch, Elgin Branch, and Walter "Pug" Branch. Surviving are her three sons and daughters-in-law E.L. and Nora Haymore, Gray and Becky Haymore, and Terry and Donna Haymore all of Dobson, NC.: four grandchildren Candace Johnson, Dr. Molly and Fred Fisher, Dacia and Nathan Benton, Toby and Matthew White; two great-grandchildren Bailey and Brody Johnson ; one sister and brother-in-law Dorothy Payne Cave and George Cave of Dobson; two brothers Wendell Branch, and Eugene Branch both of Mt. Airy, NC. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday June 24, 2011 at Salem Fork Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Van Brindle and Rev. Tom Parker will conduct the service. The family will receive friends at Salem Fork Baptist Church Family Life Center on Thursday evening from 7 P.M. until 9 P.M. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Salem Fork Baptist Church Building Fund PO Box 491, Dobson, NC, 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the Haymore family.
