Mrs. Jane Wolfe Collins

Mrs. Jane Wolfe Collins, 74, of Dobson, entered into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Monday, September 24, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a strong community leader. Mrs. Collins was a member of the Copeland Extension Club for fifty years and a Teacher's Assistant at Copeland Elementary School for more that twenty one years, where she had a great impact on her students. One of the proudest moments of her life was appearing on television commercials after becoming the recipient of a new Toyota Corolla in 2006 for being the six millionth customer. Her life revolved around her service for her Lord, her family and her community. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted children, Pam Tilley, of Shoals, Michael and wife Amy Collins of Dobson, Steven Collins, of the home, and Adrian Snow, whom she loved as her own; four beloved grandchildren, Anya and husband Chuck Martin of Ararat, Ty and wife Lauren Tilley of Ararat, Austin Bodenhamer and Chandler Bodenhamer, both of Dobson; five great-grandchildren, Maddox, Emery, Finn, Gib and Declan; a sister, Sue Wall of Siloam; two sisters-in-law, Pat and husband Dan Steveson of King and Decie Bowman of Dobson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Collins was preceded in death her husbands, Jack Bowman and Jimmy Collins; and a sister, Maurine McCall. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 27, 2012 t Level Cross United Methodist Church by the Rev. Erin Michelle Weaver and the Rev. Hal Finney with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
