Mrs. Jane Lee Puckett

Mrs. Jane Lee Puckett, age 73 of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem. Mrs. Puckett was born in Grayson County on June 1, 1938 to the late Dave and Gracie Hancock Davis. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband, Manuel Puckett of Village Care in King; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Joe McGill of Pilot Mountain; a son, Tony Puckett and Fiancée Brenda Gravley of King; a grandchild Alyssa Puckett of King; a sister, Mary Griffin of East Bend; four brothers, Danny, Roy, Frank, and Billy Davis; a special niece, Michelle Draughn of Pilot Mountain. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Puckett was preceded in death by a grandson, Zackary Puckett; a sister, Rose Eaton; three brothers, Howard, Junior and Roger Davis. A graveside services will be held Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Zion Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Pickett officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30 until 1:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy and other times at the home of Sandra McGill, 600 East Main Street, Pilot Mountain, NC.
