Mrs. Jewel Belton Knight

Mrs. Jewell Belton Knight, age 86 of Stuart, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina as the result of an automobile accident. She was born in Patrick County on August 23, 1924 to the late Edgar and Minnie Dehart Belton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Knight; a sister, Ellen Belton; and two brothers, Robert and Clyde Belton. She was a member of Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Mrs. Knight is survived by two sisters, Maxine Simmons of Stuart and Louise Hazelwood of Burlington, North Carolina; and twelve nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Knight will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Trent Wall, Rev. Jack Foley and Rev. David Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
