Mrs. Jo Ann Sames Galyean

Mrs. Jo Ann Sames Galyean, age 75, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at her son’s home. Mrs. Galyean was born in Pulaski, VA on December 17, 1941 to Alvin Glenn and Gertrude Lineberry Sames. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Stephen Galyean and fiancée Holli; a granddaughter, Jenna Tuttle and husband, Thomas; a great grandson, Bentley Tuttle; a sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and John Powell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg and Shawn Sames and Chris and Joyce Sames; and special nephews, Alan Sames and his family and Craig Sames and his family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 30, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ernie Smith. Burial will follow in Fisher Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday beginning at 1:00 PM.
