Mrs. JoAnn Adams Hayes

Mrs. JoAnn Adams Hayes, age 79, of Dobson, NC, passed away on Wednesday morning September 7, 2016 at the Joan & Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Yadkin Co. on March 6, 1937 to the late Glenn and Hazel Holleman Adams. She was a member of Dobson First Baptist Church and retired after 38 years of service with Hanes Hosiery. Surviving are her husband, Thurman Wesley Hayes of the home; one daughter Myra Hayes Caudle of Pilot Mtn.; two sons and daughter-in-law Michael and Sharon Hayes of Mt. Airy, Mickey Hayes of Mt. Airy; eight grandchildren, Chris Hayes, Candra Chriscoe, Hannah Stanley, Haley Smith, Hunter Hayes, Matthew Hayes, Courtney Hayes, Garrett Caudle; seven great-grandchildren, Sadie Hayes, Camden Hayes, Hayden Chriscoe, Harper Chriscoe, Jack Stanley, Parker Hayes, Ashton Hayes; two sisters and brothers-in-law Hilda and Frank Hutchens of Boonville, Darlene and Tim Carmichael of Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday September 9, 2016 at Dobson First Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. Rev. Cory Honeycutt will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Dobson First Baptist Church on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
