Mrs. Joanne Bowman Holleman

Mrs. Joanne Bowman Holleman, age 57, of Elkin, NC passed away on Thursday December 7, 2017 at her home. She was born in Forsyth County on December 31, 1959 to the late Harvey and Alice Dixon Bowman. She was a loving mother, sister, Aunt and friend! She worked most of her life as a seamstress at Lucia, Inc. She was also a material handler at PVH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Tony Holleman and sister, Glenda Marie Bowman. Surviving are a son, Brian Holleman of the home; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Steve Melton of Kernersville, NC; two nieces Ann Melton, and Lynn Wagner and husband, Jason; a nephew, Steven Melton and two great nieces, Raylin, and Riley Melton. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 10, 2017 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial in the Roaring Gap Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Joe Atkins will officiate the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until time of her service.
