Mrs. Jonna Harwood Burtnett

Mrs. Jonna Jean Burtnett (Harwood) of Mt. Airy (formerly Eastlake, OH) passed away on 7 August 2013. Our wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went to be with her Lord and Saviour. Her life verse was Hebrews 11:6 which states, in part, "... that he (God) is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Mrs. Burtnett was born in Cleveland, OH on August 27, 1932 to John Wesley and Dorothy Divine Swank Harwood.
Surviving are her devoted husband, Robert Alan Burtnett of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Richard Condon of Westchester, OH; Roberta and Michael Haynie of Harmony, PA; sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Vonnie Burtnett of Bowie, MD; Thomas and Dolores Burtnett of Mt. Airy, NC; grandchildren, Allyson Vance, Karl Burtnett, Kristine Burtnett, Erin Burtnett, Nicholas Cooper, Sarah Haynie and Samantha Haynie; twelve great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Frank Zuby of Lakewood, OH; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Patricia and Clint Hanson of Euclid, OH. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Burtnett was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nancy Leslie and a brother, John W. Harwood. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Vance. Burial will follow in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
