Mrs. Judy Faye Smith Cummings, 63, of Dobson passed away peacefully on Friday October 4, 2013 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bledsoe County, Tennessee on October 2, 1950 to the late John H. and Evelyn Inez Brown Smith. Mrs. Cummings was a retired Dietician from Hugh Chatham Nursing Center. Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 16 years, Billy Wayne Cummings of the home; three children, Scotty and wife Stephanie Ross of Dayton, Tennessee, Tonya Lynn and husband Chris Benge of Jonesville and Tim Cummings also of Jonesville; her beloved grandchildren, Heather Ross, Jessica Ross, Nicholas Ross, Josh Holbrook, Isaac Holbrook, Ashlyn Benge and Alyssa Cummings; several great-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Devota Brewer, Ann Craig, Linda Smith and J.L. Reed; four brothers, Ridley Smith and wife Martha, Jerry Smith, Ronnie and wife Nancy Smith and Richard and wife Becky Smith, all of Pikeville, Tennessee; numerous special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. In addition to her parents, a grandson, Travis Ross; a sister Carolyn Reed and a sister-in-law, Brenda Smith preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, October 7, 2013 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home by Rev. Tony White with burial to follow in Sunrise Cemetery in Jonesville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 to 8 pm and other times at her home.
