Mrs. Judy Adams Shrewsbury

Mrs. Judy Adams Shrewsbury, age 60 passed away on Sunday evening January 31, 2010 at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Wyoming County West Virginia to the late Oscar and Macy Graham Adams. In addition to her parents her husband Jarrett Shrewsbury preceded her in death; a son Randy Shrewsbury, four sisters Shirley Robertson, Laura Ross, Peggy Champ, Betty Adams. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are two daughters and son-in-law Regina Hicks of Laurinburg, NC, Angela and Marvin Rivas of Dobson, son Robbie Shrewsbury of Mt. Airy; six grandchildren Vincent Angel, Adrianna Angel, Dakota Lopez, Alexander Rivas, Jarrett Shrewsbury, Dylan Shrewsbury; sisters Linda Spain, Sandy and Thomas Miller, Edie Bolen, Rebecca and Allen Murdock; brothers and sister-in-law Butch and Jesse Adams, Acie Adams. A memorial service will be held 6:30 PM in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson on Wednesday evening. The services will be conducted by Rev. Todd Byrd. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until time of the services.
