Mrs. Karen Lorraine Napier Arvidson

Mrs. Karen Lorraine Napier Arvidson, 64, of Dobson, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. She was born in Davidson County, TN on May 15, 1953 to Thomas Jefferson Napier and the late Viola Carlile Napier. Mrs. Arvidson was employed at the Waffle House as the lead cook before becoming disabled. In addition to her father, Mrs. Arvidson is survived by a daughter, Katrina Arvidson and fiancé James Taylor; grandchildren, Dakota Goss, Brendan Goss, Aiden Taylor, Ethan Taylor, and Julian Taylor; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Gary Watson, Constance and Buddy Grubb, and Debbie and Jim Corday; a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Carrie Napier; special friends, Portia and Charles Goss; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Arvidson was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Arvidson. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Brandon Jones officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
