Mrs. Katherine Pack Epperson

Mrs. Katherine Pack Epperson, age 71 of Walnut Cove, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Epperson was born in Surry County on July 24, 1941 to Elijah and Elsie McMillian Pack. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Bridget and Jeff Gammons; sons and daughters-in-law, Timmy and Stella Epperson; John Pack and William Epperson; Dwight and Brenda Epperson; Ricky and Jenny "Sissy" Epperson; Tony Epperson and Joe Epperson; twenty grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; sisters and a brother-in-law, Barbara and Thomas Pack and Ida Belle Jones and brothers and a sister-in-law, Lloyd and Barbara Pack; Aldie Pack and Jimmy Pack and a special friend Donnie Boggs. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Epperson was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Epperson and a grandson, Randy Pack. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Don Collins. Burial will follow in Indian Grove Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
