Mrs. Kathryn Ann Hatcher Gwynn

Mrs. Kathryn Ann Hatcher Gwynn, age 58 of Ararat, VA, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 at Baptist Hospital. Mrs. Gwynn was born in Surry County on September 23, 1957 to Ruby Bryant Hatcher and the late Walter William Hatcher. She was a devoted caregiver for many years. Surviving is her husband, Clinton Gwynn; a grandson, Dustin Levi Stevens; her mother, Ruby Hatcher; a step son, Shane Gwynn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Randy Holt, Alice and Charles Crotts; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie and Bonnie Hatcher, Kenneth and Martha Hatcher, Chris and April Hatcher and Jerry Hatcher. In addition to her father, Mrs. Gwynn was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Hatcher. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Gwynn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home beginning at 12:30.
