Mrs. Learline Burnette Hall

Mrs. Learline Burnette Hall, age 64 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2007 at her home. She was born in Floyd County on October 7, 1942 to the late Orby "Red" and Effie Burnette. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by one sister, Kathleen Ashby and one brother, Wayland Burnette. She was a member of Conner's View Primitive Baptist Church, and had been a secretary at Meadows of Dan Elementary School for 28 years.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband, Elvin O. Hall of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle H. and Blanchard Montgomery of Ararat and Sherri H. and Robert Huffman of Danville; three grandchildren, Laura Ashley Montgomery, Peyton Clark Montgomery and Nathanael Elvin Montgomery; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Colonel Wimmer of Copper Hill, Geraldine and Riley Williams of Bassett and Hilda and Noel Underwood of Willis; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Hall and Kitty Burnette; and nieces and nephews, Barry, Scott, Duane, Wayland, Jr., Rita, Debbie, Beverly, Darnell and Angela.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hall will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Conner's View Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Edward Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Conner's View Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.
