Surviving is her devoted husband, Larry Bruner of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Jimmy Howlett; a son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Misty Bruner all of Mt. Airy; "babies" Erin Howlett and Ryan Howlett, Kylie Bruner and Luke Bruner, sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenda and Richard Simmons; Melba Nunn, Faye Atkins and Mary Ruth "Myrt" Hamm all of Mt. Airy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bruner was preceded in death by an infant sister and brother, Effie Jo and Roy Hiatt. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Bishop J. C. Haymore and Rev. Gary Sawyers. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens.
