Mrs. Lena Mae Miller Inman

Mrs. Lena Mae Miller Inman, 80, of Pilot Mountain entered the Portals of Heaven on Monday, October 15, 2012 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Surry County on November 16, 1931 to the late William Henry and Clara Lee Law Miller. Mrs. Inman was a homemaker and a dedicated member of Level Cross United Methodist Church as long as her health permitted. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Williams Curtis Inman of Pilot Mountain; two loving daughters and a son-in-law, Bunny Bobbitt of King and Lena Gayle and Mike Williams of Yadkinville; her beloved grandchildren, Travis (Beverly) Shelton, Kane (Charity) Shelton, Jenille (Tony) Hess, Melissa (Brian) Combs and Michael (Sarah) Williams; seven very special great-grandchildren; two devoted sisters and a brother-in-law, Eva (her deceased husband, Buddy) Gough of Boonville and Janie (Billy Joe) McHone of Level Cross and a special brother, Raymond (Carol) Miller, of Boonville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Sanford (Laura) Miller and Hanzel (Peggy) Miller. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Level Cross United Methodist Church by Hospice Chaplain, Ricky Spencer, Rev. Roger Miller and Rev. Erin Michelle Weaver with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 11 AM until the hour of the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Level Cross United Methodist Church, 4080 Siloam Road, Dobson, NC 27017, or Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care 401 Technology Land, Suite 200 Mount Airy, NC 27030. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her loving caregivers, Shelby Miller, Debbie Baker and Susan Martin and the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care for their loving and compassionate care.
