Mrs. Lena Alverta Bolen Pavlisak

Mrs. Lena Alverta Bolen Pavlisak, 47, of Mt. Airy went to her heavenly home on Friday, February 12, 2016. She was born in Forsyth County on August 16, 1968 to Paul “Gilbert” Bolen and Shirley Ann Tate Bolen. Lena was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and was a friend to all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, John Pavlisak; a son, Michael Lee Goins, Jr.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sheila Annette Bolen and husband, Mattie Mendoza, and Tammy Bolen; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Jeffery Dewayne Bolen and wife Tammy, and Carl Bolen; granddaughter Kyleigh Goins; nephews, Teddy Ray Bolen and wife Shannon, and Paul “Eli” Bolen; a great nephew, Cyrus Bolen; a niece Destiny Mendoza; special aunt Linda Heath and several more aunts and uncles and cousins. Lena was preceded in death by her grandparents and a sister, Anita Bolt. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy McCraw officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday February 15, 2016 from 6-8. The family asks that memorials be made to Moody Funeral Services, PO Box 1288, Mt. Airy, NC 27030 to assist with funeral expenses.
