Mrs. Lenna B. Conner

Mrs. Lenna B. Conner, age 84 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart. She was born in Patrick County on December 21, 1925 to the late John Conner Belcher and Cora E. Vipperman Belcher. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by her husband, Beamer C. Conner; three brothers, Alvin, Warren and Aubern Belcher; and one sister, Audra Lam. She had worked at Mabry Mill and Rocky Knob Cabins, and was a member of Conner's View Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Conner is survived by one son, Doyle C. Conner of Meadows of Dan; three grandchildren, Shelia Marshall, Robby Conner and Sylvia Conner; and two great-grandchildren, Summer Conner and Amber Rodgers.
Services for Mrs. Conner will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Conner's View Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Edward Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the Conner Family Cemetery.
