Mrs. Lennis Mae Cassady Inman, age 92 of Stuart, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Landmark Center in Stuart. She was born in Patrick County on August 29,1920 to the late John and Dovie Dalton Cassady. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Inman was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Inman; eight brothers, Brock, Kenneth, Richard, Henry, Benny, Bronzy, Leonard and Abbie Cassady; and two sisters, Nora Haley and Alice Cassady. She was a member of Five Forks Wesleyan Church, and had retired from Patrick County High School as a cafeteria worker.
Mrs. Inman is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Lewis Woodall of New Castle, Linda and David Bullins of Stuart, Carolyn and Tommie Tatum of Stuart and Wanda Hill of Lawsonville, North Carolina; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Billy Ray and Rose Inman of Stuart and Michael Dean Inman of High Point, North Carolina; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Inman will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Five Forks Wesleyan Church with Pastor Gary Combs and Pastor Dave Henry officiating. Burial will follow in the Five Forks Wesleyan Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.
