Mrs. Linda S. Bryant

Mrs. Linda Sue Manuel Bryant, age 69, of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday July 7, 2016, at the Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Bryant was born in Forsyth County on December 4, 1946, to Theodore Glenn “Red” and Virginia Mae Newsome Manuel. She was so kind and loving to all who knew and loved her. She will be sorely missed. Surviving is a daughter, Beverly Blevins; a son, Chris Bryant; grandchildren, Joshua Blevins, Jacob Blevins, Adam Bryant, Ashley Bryant, Oshyn Bryant; great grandchildren, Dalton Blevins, Madisyn Monk and Noah Blevins; a sister, Shirley Humphries; several nieces and nephews; special great nieces and nephews, Haley East, Brittany East, Ethan Stevens and Charlie Snow; and a very special long-time friend and her grandson, Ellen Floyd and Wade Tilley. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her husband, Wade William Bryant; sisters, Barbara Bryant, Betty Atkins and Nancy Ruth Manuel and by brothers, Billy Manuel and Ted Junior Manuel, Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM, Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Gospel Baptist Church by Rev John Hylton and Rev. Charles Stevens. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at Moody Funeral Home of Mt. Airy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Moody Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
