Mrs. Linda Beane Draughn

Mrs. Linda Beane Draughn, age 67, of Dobson, North Carolina passed away at her home on Friday morning August 18, 2017. She was born in Surry County on December 24, 1949 to the late James Franklin and Ola Hamlin Beane. She was retired from Tultex in Dobson. Surviving are her loving husband, Roger Dale Draughn of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Roger “Dale” II and Amanda Draughn of Dobson; one grandchild, Sophia Presley Draughn; sister, Brenda Bowman of Pinnacle; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Sarah Lou Beane of Dobson, Randy and Diane Beane of Westfield. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, August 20, 2017 in Dobson City Cemetery, with Pastor Cory Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday at Moody-Davis Funeral Home from 1:00 until time to go to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
