Mrs. Linda Brammer Haynes

Mrs. Linda Brammer Haynes, age 56 of Woolwine, went home to be with her Lord on Jan. 21, 2017 at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Martinsville to the late Ethel Harman Brammer and Daniel Lester Brammer on June 11, 1960. She graduated in 1978 from Martinsville High School. She worked at VF Inc for 24 years, Goodwill of the Valley in Bassett, and the Blue Ridge Nursing Home in Stuart before becoming disabled. She loved playing the autoharp and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Cascade and attended Sycamore Baptist Church. She also had a great love for animals.

Surviving are her loving and caring husband, Billy Lee Haynes of the home; one sister, Rhonda K. Brammer and husband, Rodney McCloud of Martinsville; one step daughter, Shannon Haynes of Bassett; one step son, Brent Haynes and wife, Dayna of Forest; four step grandchildren, Teagan Johnson, Trenton Haynes, Parker Haynes, and Ethan Haynes.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Sycamore Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Melton and Pastor Reggie Steele officiating. Burial will follow in the Harman Homestead Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements.
