Mrs. Linda Puckett Moore

Mrs. Linda Puckett Moore, age 58 of Bassett, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. She was born in Patrick County on June 3, 1948. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Jackson Moore; her father, Lester Hayes Puckett; and one sister, Odesa Turner. She was a member of Mount Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Mrs. Moore is survived by three daughters, Jeannie Payne of Axton, Sharon K. Meade of Jonesville, North Carolina, and Donna Louise Jackson of Ridgeway; one son, Lester Jackson Moore of the home; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; her mother and step-father, Minnie D. and Harrison Hensley of Claudville; three brothers, Lewis Bowman and Jessie Puckett, both of Stuart and Mike Puckett of Mount Airy, North Carolina; and one sister, Madeline Hatcher of Patrick Springs.
Funeral services for Mrs. Moore will be held Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart. The family will receive friends following the service.
