Mrs. Lois Belle Chase

Mrs. Lois Belle Chase, age 81 of Stuart passed away on Aug. 6, 2009 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. She was born on Feb. 1, 1928 in Lawrence, KS to the late Grover Cleveland Rothwell and Lillian Belle Rothwell. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Veola Rothwell, Gertrude Alexander, Lucille Smith; and one brother, Ernest Rothwell.
Surviving are a daughter, Debra Sue Chase; one son, Larry Craig Chase; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one sister, Jan Bailey of Stuart.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastors Jim Dunn and Lil Geib officiating. Inurnment will be held in the West Hill Cemetery in Sherburne, NY at a later date. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
