Mrs. Lois Inez Bouldin Hill, 85 of Mt. Airy, widow of Arthur "Buck" Hill passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a true "Southern Lady". Her home was her life. She loved to cook, grow flowers, and was a very good artist. She had a tremendous heart filled with compassion, love, and an elegance that shown through to anyone she met. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Shelby and Terry Coe, Deborah and Daniel Welborn; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Delores Hill; grandchildren, Melissa Coe Whennell and husband, Richard Whennell, Michele Coe Tester, Melanie Coe Wallace and husband, Rev. Aaron Wallace, Zachery Hill, Amy Hill and fiancé, Gray Haynes, Kathryne Welborn; great grandchildren, John Tester, Alex Tester, Michael Tester, Sydney Wallace, Macy Wallace, Frederick Whennell, and Harry Whennell and a sister, Bessie Woods. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Bouldin and James Wilburn Bouldin. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Welcome Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Coe, Rev. Barry O'Neal, and Rev. Aaron Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday evening at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy where the body will remain until the time to be taken to the church to lie-in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
