Lois Worrell Brinkley Seivers passed away on 30 May 2015 in Mount Airy, North Carolina. She was born in Mount Airy, Surry County, North Carolina on 1 March 1925 to James William Brinkley & Selena Jane Brinkley Brinkley both deceased. She married Henry Lee Seivers Sr. on 20 Jul 1945 at the Grace Moravian Church in Mount Airy, NC. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a strong testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ and His true gospel being on the earth today. She served in Relief Society, the largest women's organization in the world, and the Young Women's Program, but her favorite was Primary (teaching children from 18 mos to 12 yrs the gospel of Jesus Christ) where she served for more than 35 years. Her favorite calling in Primary was the Sunbeam children's class for 18 mos. to 3 yrs.

Lois was working at Quality Mills when she met Henry in 1944 and after their marriage she didn't work out of the home until their youngest son, Keith, started school in 1971. She retired from the Franklin Elementary School Cafeteria in 1987 after serving for 16 years.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lee Sr, on June 15, 2009. Their marriage was wonderful for 64 years. She is also preceded in death by her parents and three grandchildren, Carol Ann Logan, Michael Phillip Seivers Jr., and Angela Loissa Seivers. She had four sisters to precede her in death: Charlottie Frances Brinkley "Lottie" Norman (1904-1997), Nannie Geneva Brinkley Marion (1913-2006), Doris Lee Brinkley Tickle (1916-1970), Helen Virginia Brinkley (1918-1918) and four brothers: Robert William Brinkley (1908-1909), Earnest William Brinkley (1910-1911), Charles Garland "Buck" Brinkley (1919-1945 WWII), James William Brinkley Jr (1921-2001).
She is survived by her six children and their spouses: Paulette and Harold Logan of Mount Airy, NC, Henry Lee Seivers Jr. and Lynn Martin Seivers of Pinnacle, Michael Phillip and Katherine Fawcett Seivers of Mount Airy, Gregory Lynn and Janet Clay Davis Seivers of Dobson, Rebecca Jane "Becky" and Richard Edward "Ricky" Smith of Mount Airy and Keith Marlow and Julie Barretta Norman Seivers of Mount Airy. Also surviving is her youngest sister, Peggy Cleo (Joe Carlie) Haymore of Mount Airy. Lois was the loving grandmother of twenty-six grand-children and forty great-grandchildren and two gg-grandchildren with another two on the way.
The family will receive family & friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson at 10:00 AM Tuesday June 2, 2015 for one hour prior to the Graveside Services that will be held in the Dobson City Cemetery following the visitation. Bishop Ray Riska will conduct the Graveside service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dobson City Cemetery Fund, P O Box 796, Dobson, NC 27107, or to Mountain Valley hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030. The family would like to express special thanks for the love and care given to their Mother & Grandmother in the last few months by Bonnie Riggs & Janie Dawson (Lois' nieces), Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, the staff of Northern Hospital of Surry County, and the Surry Emergency Medical Service, Liberty Homecare.
