Mrs. Lottie Jones Rorrer

Mrs. Lottie Jones Rorrer, age 84 of Stuart, Virginia passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Pioneer Community Hospital. She was born in Patrick County on May 8, 1932 to the late Joseph O. Jones and Beatrice Martin Jones. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, English C. Rorrer; a great grandson, Erik Rorrer; three sisters, Hazel Hall, Lois Jones, and Peggy Manns; and two brothers, Richard Jones and Clarence Jones. She was a member of Elamsville Church of God of Prophecy.

Mrs. Rorrer is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Cathy Rorrer of Stuart; three grandchildren, Toby, Teddy and Jamie Rorrer; eight great-grandchildren, Danny, Asia, Elijah, Taylor, Katelynn, Haley, Austin and Aleigha; and one great-great-grandchild, Keylon Nowlin; three sisters, Charlotte Setliff of Stuart, Lucille Holley of Eden, North Carolina and Jolene Walker of Eden, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Greg Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Elamsville Church of God of Prophecy cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
