Mrs. Louella Alyne Coulson Ayers

Mrs. Louella Alyne Coulson Ayers, 80 of Cana, VA passed away at Heritage Hall of Laurel Fork on Saturday, December 1, 2012. She was born in Carroll County on February 8, 1932 to the late Thomas Coulson and Clementine McMillian Coulson. Mrs. Ayers was retired from Lynne Hosiery and was a member of Crooked Oak Moravian Church. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Bonnie Ayers of Cana, Tim and Daphne Ayers of Mt. Airy, Keith and Cheryl Ayers of Cana; grandchildren and spouses, B.J. and Beth Ayers of Fancy Gap, VA, Andrew and Brooke Ayers of Lexington, Taffi Ayers of Albuquerque, NM, Autumn Ayers of Rural Hall, Joe Ayers of Asheboro, Brian and Selest Ayers of Pfafftown and Cagney Ayers of Mt. Airy; great grandchildren, Evan, Hoke, Hayden, Caroline, Liam and Jace; a sister and brother-in-law, Antoinette and Everett Dawson of Ararat, VA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ayers was preceded in death by her husband, Aubon Barnett Ayers, an infant daughter, Sheila Ann Ayers; sisters, Josie Hylton, Sylvia Yarbrough, Mary Hiatt and Virginia Ferguson; brothers, Clarence, Okra and Lester Coulson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Easter and Rev. Charles Fishel officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Bethel Moravian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, December 3, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
