Mrs. Lucille Weddle Brady, age 89, of Fancy Gap, passed into the more immediate presence of the Lord on November 9, 2017. Mrs. Brady was born in Carroll County on December 16, 1927, to Keller and Mary Gypsy Utt Weddle. She was a dear, sweet mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be sorely missed. Among the many who will always cherish her memory is her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Fred Hiatt; grandchildren, Frederick Hiatt (Becky), and Crystal Hiatt; great grandchildren, Trey Hiatt and Nicole Hiatt; a brother, Joe Weddle; sisters-in-law, Lila Branscomb (Julius), and Peggy Weddle; and a brother-in-law, Howard Brady (Virginia). In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brady was preceded in death by her husband, Arlis Brady a sister, Nan Brady; and brothers, Rush Weddle, and Charles David Weddle. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 13, 2017, at Bluemont Presbyterian Church by Rev. Chuck Harmon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at Moody Funeral Home. After the service friends and family will be welcomed at Mrs. Brady’s home. The family would like to express a special thanks to special nieces, Debbie Stone, and Donna Peery as well as the wonderful staff at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows for the exceptional care given to Mrs. Brady.
