Mrs. Lucy A. Jacobs

Mrs. Peggy Ann Jacobs, age 63 of Patrick Springs passed away Saturday evening at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was born on Nov. 10, 1946 in Grundy, VA to the late John Henry Looney and Ada Mae Wagner Looney. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a sister, Juanita McClanahan.
Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Alex L. Jacobs of the home; one daughter, Suzanne Motley of Patrick Springs; one son, Monty Thompson of Patrick Springs; Four grandchildren; Four Great Grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Byrd of Saltville; and four brothers, Neal Looney of Glade Springs, Steve Cox of Virginia, John Cox of Florida, and Jake Cox of Maryland.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
