Mrs. Lucy W. Terry

Mrs. Lucy W. Terry, age 74 of York, South Carolina, and formerly of Meadows of Dan, Virginia and Charlotte, North Carolina, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on December 27, 2011 after a short, courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late James Lee Terry, and the daughter of the late Benjamin Dodd and Annie Hall Williams. In addition to her parents and husband, Lucy was preceded in death by one sister, Pauline Stegall and one brother, Dillard Williams. She was of the Primitive Baptist faith, and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a homemaker and a stay at home mom to three children, to which she gave so much love. After the death of her husband, she moved to South Carolina to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She was looking forward to being a great-grandmother to Austin Trent Belk.
Lucy is survived by one daughter, Wanda Terry Hageman and husband, Don, of York; two sons, Roger Lee Terry and wife, Donna, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, and James Stephen Terry and wife, Michelle, of York. Lucy is also survived by her four loving grandchildren, Brittany Terry Belk and husband, Brandon, Jared Terry, Ashley Terry and Brandon Terry; four sisters, Onie Vaughn of Claudville, Virginia and Betty Jean Conner, Edna Hylton and Joyce Belcher, all of Stuart; Virginia and one brother, C.D. Williams of Stuart.
