Mrs. Ludie Frances Neal Flinchum

Mrs. Ludie Frances Neal Flinchum, 91, of Mt. Airy passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born in Surry County on March 3, 1925 to the late Jim and Sallie Southern Neal. Mrs. Flinchum was a homemaker and was a member of White Plains Baptist Church. She is survived by a sister, Mamie Brown of Mt. Airy; sisters-in-law, Geraldine Johnson, Sue Sutphin, and Ruby Hill Flinchum all of Mt. Airy; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Flinchum was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Flinchum; sisters, Pauline McHone, Louise Easter, and Lillie Morris; a brother, James Neal. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Tucker, and the Rev. Bill Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
