Mrs. Lummie Lenora McMillan

Mrs. Lummie Lenora McMillan, age 93, of Mt. Airy, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at Central Continuing Care. Mrs. McMillan was born in Carroll County on February 19, 1922 to Robert Lee and Sally Vernon Berrier. She was so loving and cared for so many of her family and friends. She will be dearly missed. Surviving is a devoted niece, Linda Lawson who cared for Mrs. McMillan and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McMillan was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph McMillan; her son, Mark McMillan and three sisters and six brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 1, 2016, at Rockford Street United Methodist Church by Rev. Jack Danley. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
