Mrs. Lynn Cagle Collins

Mrs. Lynn Cagle Collins, 60, of Cana passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 30, 2016 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born in Surry County on September 6, 1956 to the late William Marlie and Wanda Irene Edwards Cagle. Mrs. Collins was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, always putting the welfare of others before her own. She is survived by two daughters, Kelly Rippey and fiancé, Tim Snow, Sarah Ray and husband, Michael; her grandchildren, Cassidy Snow, Destiny Ray, Olivia Ray and Maggie Ray; sisters, Faye Goad and husband, Greg, Betty Arnold and husband, Doug; brothers, Harlie Cagle and wife, Linda, Woody Cagle and wife, Angie, Tommy Cagle and wife, Kun Hyang. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Steve Collins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 3, 2016 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Bryant and Rev. Randy Quate officiating. Burial will follow at the Marion Family Cemetery in Cana, VA. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
